Cabo San Lucas is one of the many popular Mexican destinations, known for its cuisine, fabulous hotels, shopping, and celebrity sightings. What many people do not know is the amount of unique shops that feature local artists. Kelly and I are always looking for something different to do on each vacation to give us something special to remember each destination, and Corazón Playero hats was just that!

Corazón Playero is a small, woman owned business in Cabo that makes these custom hats in all different colors, sizes, and designs. Isabel Andrade is the founder, who is uber friendly and accommodating when deciding what to choose on these beautiful hats. She has been asked to travel all over the United States since she started this business to showcase her work at high end shopping centers! Since there was a big group of us in Cabo, I arranged for Isabel and her team to come to the house we rented to make the women a hat for the trip. To say that this was a memorable moment is an understatement. She brought over a dozen already made hats for us to choose from or to help us curate our own unique hat for them to make right on the spot. This sounds like it could get expensive, right? The hats range from 180 USD to a little over 200 USD. I was expecting more since it took the women a few hours to sew our designs perfectly. It is incredible to watch these ladies sew such intricate details!
