If you have never been to Cabo, I am sure you have at least heard of the city in Mexico, best known for its geography and climate. It is located at the southern most tip of the Mexican peninsula, but unique in the sense that the desert meets the sea! The Nobu hotel is fairly new and, yes, it is directly related to the famed restaurant Nobu. The entire resort, from when you pull up to the entrance, to the sea, has a tranquil Asian-chic vibe where it feels as though you are surrounded by a spa. The aromas of lavender and mint is diffused throughout the hotel, and the incorporation of fire and water displays are endless, making for the perfectly balanced Feng Shui experience. This is not your typical all-inclusive resort, where the drinks are weak and the food is sub-par, but an elevated exposure to the standards that hold true as being one of the Leading Hotels of the World. (https://www.lhw.com) Each guest is offered a personal concierge for anything and everything that relates to the the city, hotel, dining, or service. If you have children, there are nannies on-site to help you relax as much as possible without leaving the little ones behind. All of the ingredients used for the drinks and food are locally sourced, using the freshest seafood and high quality meats; keep in mind that if you have dietary restrictions, they are uber accommodating to that. There are four restaurants located on the property-the always satisfying and reliable Nobu overlooking the ocean, the unique steakhouse with a focus on presentation and craft cocktails, a casual authentic Mexican restaurant with crazy beautiful views of the beach, and a farm-to-table breakfast and lunch spot that were all delicious. In addition, all guests are offered private cabanas at one of their three pools with attentive poolside service. Side note: since I have been to Mexico many times, I have learned to buy alcohol at the airport, just in case the drinks are weak-it was not needed! You definitely get what you pay for, with all top shelf liquor, wine, and beer. Unfortunately, I did not get to enjoy the spa due to time restrictions, but their treatments include Asian-inspired traditions that sounded like a promise in the relaxation department and the fitness classes are top-notch, including yoga, spinning, and pilates. I will be definitely indulging myself in a treatment or two on my next stay! If you are an avid golfer, the famous golf course by Tiger Woods is just down the road from the resort in the very exclusive community where you reside for your stay at Nobu. Those wondering about the Covid restrictions and testing-put your worries aside! The Nobu staff made everything very easy and seamless, with free covid testing and ensuring all public areas are sanitized every 30 minutes, while enforcing masks when wandering around the resort. This is definitely a place to see and be seen, and the Dish and Discover team gives our stamp of approval! So start planning your relaxing getaway-it is worth it! https://loscabos.nobuhotels.com

  1. Can’t wait to visit and it sounds like a great place to bring the kids provided the onsite nanny staff!
